Will he ever forgive me???

So when the doctors told my husband and I that I need to be very careful of germs due to Chemo (leukemia), My wonderful DH started cleaning my house like a maniac. Then he took a look at Achilles and said, "He is like a walking mop,(lovingly) maybe we should get him groomed" So he makes the appointment. He goes to pick Achilles up, doesn't even look like the same dog! There is no chance a germ could hide on him now! He is actually acting different. Do you think he will ever forgive me for this do? And what is up with the tail? He even looks mad in the second picture.

The first time Monty was shaved, he didnt look at me for two days! I did everything I could to make it up to him. I think maybe get that baby a sweater to help him feel covered. Get him his fav treats, love him like nothing happened. Groomers suck most of the time in my experience. Better days ahead.

LOL, love the second picture. He does look way different but still cute. Darwin seems to act kind of embarrassed when he gets shaved down... but eventually warms up to it and enjoys the lack of hair.

Outside of the crazy TAIL he looks adorable....and yes he does look a little miffed - ha ha.

I would like to know what the "groomer" thought she was doing with the tail? I have never seen anything exactly like that. It's the thought that counts, and the hair grows back. I bet he will forgive you.

Awe... Anna! I know how you must feel! But YOU have to come first and I think that's where your husband's heart was... now for his EYES!!! LOL He must have felt bad too...Now Achilles can get close to you and cuddle with you without worrying about what is harboring in his hair.. that too will be medicine for you!
