Amen! I am very much against breeders who operate in such a manner.
My puppies are in my bedroom at birth and moved to my very large open family room or kitchen depending on where the majority of my time is spent at the time.
I could go on for days....
I was talking to my husband about something entirely different last night and he made a statement that fit. There are those who do things correct, their prices are a bit higher and then there are those that cut corners, undermine health and sacrifice the end product (remember he wasn't referring to puppies but it fits- I hate seeing puppies referred to as a product) . In the end everyone is always looking for the cheapest best price and most of the time that gets you puppies that have not been cared for properly. This is going to get me on a new soap box so I will stop
One last comment then I am going back to folding puppy laundry : )
I love that some have caught on to the fact that "home raised" puppies is important. I have seen some rather disgusting homes. Walls lines with crates, crates stacked upon crates, filled with not one or two dogs but three or four. Dogs in side rooms, hallways, basements, converted areas not meant for living. Dogs living in crates vs in living areas with people, the live almost entirely in crates.
Which is worse to live outside or in a crate?
