When Webster walks sometimes he swings his hips.  It's almost like an exaggerated woman's hip swinging walk.  Now he doesn't do this all the time but frequently when he is strolling, in fact, the more relaxed and happy he is, the more likely for his hips to do their thing.  If he is on a mission, his stride is straight and true, and just look out if he decides to run.  The boy is fast!

Has anyone else noticed the 'hip swing'?

Yes Neely has always had his waddle. It is so cute! His doodle butt is one of my favorite things!  He is really cute going down the stairs too.

I'll have to check out Rosco's hips from the back.  I usually just see his whole torso from the top when I walk him and I've always thought his torso looks like a slinky when he walks.  His extra skin and fur just move like a slinky...it's so funny!

YES!! When Dublin does it we sing "Shake, Shake, Shake...Shake Your Booty", then my daughter gets lost in her giggles.  She will even try to imitate Dublin.....so darn cute!!  I have envisioned putting together a little "Doodle Booty" video and posting it with Shake Your Booty as the them song as he strolls for his morning walk....so silly....oh where does the time go.

That's why  one of our Lily's nicknames is wigglebutt. She also gets the tail wagging so fast sometimes her whole back side id moving. Gus does the sway thing sometimes when we're out walking.

That's funny - my husband calls our 7 month old goldendoodle "Little Miss Wigglebutt" because she wags the back half of her body, not just her tail.

My Seamus has a huge hip swing. And he is the same as Webster...only does it when he is on a pleasant stroll. It's really funny and other people have noticed it as well. I was at first nervous about possible hip dysplasia, but it doesn't seem to be that at all........just a funny swinging butt! I don't know if anyone else ever posted this, but this video makes me laugh every time (and I watch it quite often) lol. Talk about a hip swing!

Yes. If Penny is relaxed, her hips swing like a fashion model.  If she's pumped up and acting all "tough," it's straight on and straight ahead!  Love it.
