Good dog gone bad

Groucho Too has always been our good dog, but today he "took a walk on the wild side".  My husband said he was going out to the shop to do a little latheing and would have lunch a little later.  I put out his lunch (chicken and dumplings on two Grand biscuits) and a smaller portion for me to be microwaved a little later.  Then I sat down to read a new book on my iPad.  I have just learned how to download a book on the iPad and I guess I got a little involved.  When I got up to get the lunch plates to warm in the microwave, the larger one was all gone.  My first thought was that my husband came in to get his lunch and didn't want to bother me, but why was the plate still sitting on the counter?

Well, Groucho Too is 30 inches tall and very capable of counter surfing, but he is usually too well mannered to put his feet up on the counter.  HOWEVER, chicken and dumplings was just too enticing.  So, my husband had my lunch and I had a cheese sandwich.

Gracious, Mitzi really needs training!  I can never leave food out anywhere.  She will not hesitate to snatch it up.  She is

tall enough to reach the table top without stretching and I am afraid she will be a very bad influence on Sgt. Pepper.

I spoke too soon, Mitzi just a few minutes ago snatched a loaf of bread that was on the counter!  Guess I need to get out the cookie sheets!   Lol!

Sure, after the feast of chicken and dumplings, he's got the idea that all things yummy can be found on the kitchen counter.  Murph hasn't figured that one out yet.
