Doodle in a NC high kill shelter!

She's a chocolate female about 2-4 years old, and she looks so sad to be in one of the worst high kill shelters in North Carolina. This shelter kills EVERY animal in their facility EVERY Wednesday.

 

There is a doodle backyard breeder somewhere in Harnett County that keeps breeding and dumping dogs at the shelter where they are killed if they aren't pulled or rescued. It makes me so angry!!!!

The chocolate Doodle is already listed on Craigslist in Fayetteville, NC.  The woman says in her add that the doodle tested negative for heartworms at the vet yesterday.  Says her heart was bigger than her thought processes and would like to get part of her money back for the vet bill she incurred yesterday.  I am so sad.

We discussed this last night in Yappy Hour. Michael tried to contact her last night. How is someone overwhelmed in one day?? I hope she was not just trying to make a quick buck off this Chocolate doodle. This makes me sad too. I hope she contacts the DRC and does right by this dog.

Here are some more pictures of our blonde girl.  I can't say it enough...this is one sweet, sweet girl.  She was in the middle of her spa appointment so there is a pic of her with the groomer and one with Dr. Parker and of course one of her nose.  I kissed that nose and then she kissed my hand.

Thank you all so much for everything!....At the moment we are trying to get a DOODLE TRAIN together for the chocolate girl who will be going to Frannie Spector in Atlanta for fostering.

 

Frannie is willing to drive as far as Greenville SC....We have someone willing to drive from Raleigh to Charlotte, NC but need the last leg:

Charlotte, NC to Greenville, SC covered.

 

Is there anyone here that can possibly cover that last hour and 45 to Greenville?

I found your post on the DRC websiteJacquie and saw the date as well.  If it's still planned for tomorrow I can transport.  I left you a message on the # you've posted with my contact #'s :)  Our daughter (who's 19) will be able to transport with me if we can plan to leave here after 3.  Hopefully that'll work out.  I'll await your call :)
