We picked up Charlie today.  Oh my goodness, I love him so much!  He's been a good boy thus far.  Gone outside a few times.  One accident in the house.  Played for a bit & is now tuckered out.  I offered him his nighttime food and he's not at all interested.  Normal?  How long before you brought your pup home did they want to eat?

Thanks!

He is adorable! As far as eating, both of my guys ate even on the first day, but I think they were older than Charlie is. I'd bet he will be eating in the morning. Such a big day for him....first a car trip, then in a new house and yard with new humans, new smells, new everything! It will take a little time to adjust. If he has a little bit of an upset stomach that can be caused by stress, too.

How old is he??

He's almost 8 weeks.  Thanks for the reply.
It is very normal for them to be a little out of sorts and not interested in food for a day or so.  A lot has happened today. He will eat in the morning. Are you feeding the same food as the breeder did? How much? has he had treats? Give him time. I used to put it down for about 20 min. and if he didn't eat I took it up, especially at night so he was done going potty by bedtime. Some people leave food down at all times too. so it's really up to you.
Charlie is adorable. It's normal not to eat. Remember, he is going through a HUGE transition. Make sure you take his water away by 7pm before bed:)
Yes, we offered him his food that was given to us by the breeder.  I just put him down in front of his bowls again & he ate about half & drank some water.  Then he went pee pee outside.  YAY! Charlie!
congratulations! i loved the day we got our Rosie. enjoy and I am sure the potty training will zip by. i remember those days.
Its also normal for them to have loose stools. You might want to add a little pumpkin to his food to help with tummy issues
