We don't usually post but have been lurking here for a few weeks (our new doodle comes home on Saturday!!) and are in no way associated with Doodle Country, but thought our recent experience with them was worth coming out of lurkdom to share with all of you.  

 

We found Doodle Country through other discussions here, so we know many of you have already been loyal customers for some time. We recently wrote to Kemp Rader to ask about the different Les Poochs brushes and also to order a SnugglePuppy for our new girl.  The customer service we received was outstanding. He patiently and quickly answered all of our questions about the brushes, explained why what we thought was a deal on eBay was actually tricky marketing AND helped us out with a rebate after we accidentally lost the paperwork for a coupon. He even went so far as to ensure that our package will arrive before Addie (the pup) does!!!  

 

In an increasingly impersonal world, the careful attention he has paid us has been a welcome change of pace. As you can imagine, as many of our future puppy purchases as possible will be through him. It makes us feel like we are "buying local" and he clearly knows his stuff.  

 

I'm sure we'll be more active participants on DoodleKisses. In the meantime, three cheers for Kemp Rader and the posters who sent us in his direction!

We received the same personal service when we ordered. It certainly is refreshing to find people who really care about their products. 

There are other wonderful doodlekisses members who sell dog related items that are just as personable and caringl.  Our doodle community really is wonderful.

Isn't almost SHOCKING these days when customer service is a pleasant experience? I've been thinking about one of these brushes but not sure yet. Glad to hear about Kemp! YEAH PUPPIES!!!!

Totally agree with you about customer service. We get our brush today. I have heard they work miracles so my expectations are high! I'll let you know my thoughts.

It's so tough to sort out the Les Poochs brushes! This is another way, though, Kemp was so helpful. He wrote a long description of each of the brushes and ultimately recommended the green brush. He said the green one is medium firmness and can be used at all life stages including puppyhood. We bought the single brush (not the wide one). I have heard great things about the mat zapper too, but Kemp said it's best to wait until after puppyhood to use this one. We just got it in the mail today, two days ahead of us getting the puppy!

I completely agree! My experiences with Kemp and the Doodle Country Store have been outstanding! My friends made fun of me when I bought a Les Pooches brush, but it really does work wonderfully on these doodle coats!
