Hudson is getting a baby sister!

We fell in love with Hudson the moment we met him and have wanted another Doodle ever since. We decided that this was the right summer. 1/2 of me is soooo excited and the other 1/2 keeps thinking, "What am I doing?" because Hudson is so easy. I thought for sure we were getting another male, but we fell in love with a sweet, mellow female. The kids have decided to call her Lily. She will come home in about 11 days.

Congrats, We are getting a little girl for Jack in August, though the girl after a few months will be living full time with my mom, How old is Hudson???

Hudson will be 3 in October. We really lucked out with him because he was such an easy puppy. He has always had an "old soul" personality.

How exciting! We just got a new baby brother for our doodle as well...Coco is 10 months and a labradoodle...baby brother is 6 1/2 weeks and is a goldendoodle. I felt the same way (still do at moments :D) but overall am thrilled so far. Good luck!!!

She is adorable! Congratulations! Our older dog has the old soul you describe about Hudson. Our pup is nothing like him but we still love him to pieces! They have the same sire. I think Owen may be one of the hardest puppies we've had, but at 9 months he is finally "getting" this living with a family thing. There were times I wondered what I had done but never for long. It is great to have two for the companionship and exercise they give one another. We have had at least two dogs for the past 14 years or so. Each one is an individual. Enjoy that puppy!
