Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Over the past couple of weeks I have been gathering up all the things my little fella will need, however I have not decided on a name.
I have a couple in mind, but I am open to other ideas...
~Darcy
~Bingley (both from Pride and Prejudice!!! Amazing!)
~I also love Disney, so anything that relates to that would be great (esp. Beauty and the Beast!)
Anyone have suggestions??
He is a little apricot boy with a precious baby face!!!!!!!
Thanks Bunches!!

I know, it's so hard to think of the "best" name! We named our dog after one of my husband's favorite director's (he's absolutely NOT one of my favorite directors), Sam Peckinpah. Our Sam is actually Sam Peckinpaw. Of course. Cute, right?
We've been thinking about a name for the brother we want to get for Sam. Sam's older brother (who still lives with the breeder because he is such an awesome dog), who is the reason we chose Sam in the first place is named Max. We thought we might name this younger brother Max, too.
Did a little research and found out that Sam and Max are the two most common names for dogs. So, apparently, we are highly unoriginal.
Back to the drawing board. My husband wants to name the next pup with a film reference as well. I thought, why not go the Dennis Hopper route? Hopper is a great name for a dog, and describes what Sam does a lot when we are walking. I assume the next pup will also hop, so Hopper is funny as well as cool. My husband vetoed this choice out of hand. A rash decision, if you ask me. I think it's a great name for a dog.
I submit the name Hopper for your consideration, since I won't be able to use it. It's cool as well as cute and I believe would lend itself to many a nickname. :-)
Thanks guys!!!! I have been MIA on here all week cause of our family vacation, but I love the suggestions!!! I never thought of 'chip' and 'webster' from Beauty and the Beast!!!!! I am falling more and more in love with Bingley though!! I thought of the "Bing" for short too, but I thought it was weird and then I remembered my favorite Christmas move EVER, White Christmas with Bing Crosby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Julie, You gotta love the Austen! I mean you just can't beat her stuff!!!!!!!!
