Today I saw just the cutest collar and matching leash and of course I had to get it for Rooney.  I bring it home and really start to notice that his "collection" is getting pretty big.  I think I may have a problem.  I mean how many collars with matching leashes does a stylish dog need?  LOL On Rooney the collar isn't too visible due to his hair so having the matching leash is crucial - right?  I think Rooney has at least 12 sets - how many is too many?  How many do you have?

STOP THE MADNESS!!!!  For all of you that have sent me new web sites to further my addiction - stop.  I've been burning up the credit card this a.m.  I need help!  LOL!

Indy has a LOT of collars, but just two leashes. I actually bought him 2 collars yesterday (whoops!). He's got blue plaid, blue and brown striped, a Vanderbilt collar (woohoo!), a summery/rainbow one, a red Easy Walk for our runs, and the two new ones, yellow and sage green (they come with his name and my number engraved on the buckle!)

To be fair, I did get the new ones so I could toss out some old ones and these have his name and my phone number engraved on the buckle which will be nice!

Jane, I hope this in some way makes you feel better about your addiction.   'Hello, my name is Murphy's Mom and I am a Collar Addict".   BUT....we only have one solid black leash.  Actually now that I am thinking about it...I think Murph should have some matching leashes.   He will be able to share soon though!  Doodle #2 is due to be born in just 13 days!
We are new best friends right - lol!!!
I just realized Murphy has one collar for every month he has been alive.  I don't think that is too many do you?
Ronna, Murphy has more collars than I have pairs of shoes!!!  I do think it is time to get matching leashes to complete his accessories though.
I think you are right Sue...I better get to leash shopping.   Just think how many pairs of shoes I could have if Murphy didn't have so many collars!
Ronna, I love the one with the lips on it! I am going in search of that one now.
Laurie you can find it at up country inc

OH THANKS.  I wish I hadn't seen this site.  It gives me all kinds of ideas for making collars.  I LOVE their on-line catalog.  That is probably the best catalog on-site I have EVER seen.

Jane, you started this whole thing...YOU CAN'T RETREAT now.  In fact, now that I think about it, YOU just started a collar/leash buying frenzy - the industry thanks you, I am sure.

You are such a trend setter...first it was cute doodle butts and now collars & leashes!  I always look forward to your discussions.  You know how to pick the topics.  And then, of course, there was the blog when Rooney first came home...I still love that one.

It is one of his newest ones.  It is a new pattern from Upcountry.  They have really cute collars.  My DH says it is too girly for Murph but I like it and as you can see from the picture Murphy is in touch with his feminine side :)  I also Love Bella Bean collars and the dots from walk-e-Woo.   I have to buy Fromm and Bully sticks today so I think I will pick up a new leash!
Rooney's birthday is in August - I think I need the birthday collar and leash!  Very cute.

The Birthday one is also Upcountry but bella Bean has a cuter blue cupcake one.  bellabeancouture.com

Rooney for sure has to have a Birthday Collar!
