Today I saw just the cutest collar and matching leash and of course I had to get it for Rooney.  I bring it home and really start to notice that his "collection" is getting pretty big.  I think I may have a problem.  I mean how many collars with matching leashes does a stylish dog need?  LOL On Rooney the collar isn't too visible due to his hair so having the matching leash is crucial - right?  I think Rooney has at least 12 sets - how many is too many?  How many do you have?

STOP THE MADNESS!!!!  For all of you that have sent me new web sites to further my addiction - stop.  I've been burning up the credit card this a.m.  I need help!  LOL!

Oh, most definitely!  Does Rooney wear a small?  10"-14"?  Rua is wanting me to make her and Rooney matching collars!  I ordered the "parts" to make 20 collars last night!  Now, I am on the search for the trim to add to the webbing.  I promise his won't be PINK!
Yes - Rooney is a small.  Wouldn't they just be too cute with matching collars?  What size does Rua wear?  I might have to have one waiting for her when next you come to visit!  What is Rua's birthday?

Rua wears a small, also.  I am going to make 1" collars because they actually show up on Rua.  I was thinking of a cute summer print.

Rua's 1st BD is July 27th.  My sisters are flying out the weekend before and I am having a 1st birthday party for Rua on Saturday, July 23rd!  I can't wait.  Wish all of our DK friends could be here!

Oh my--dog!
Jane, are you sure you want us to stop because I have LOTS more websites I can send you.  LOL.   Make sure to post pics of all Rooney's new stuff you have been buying him this morning.   Rooney and Murph are about the same size....maybe we could do a collar swap every couple weeks!

Welllllllllllllllllll - I guess you could give me a few more places - heheee!  Dh is going to terminate my credit card!!!

My DH has NO idea how much I spend on Rua.  All banking and credit card info is online...I don't get paper statements.  He could probably log-ing and check...but he never does.  As long as he can go fishing up to Canada twice a year and hunting in the fall, he doesn't care.

I really need that part-time job.  Let's see, my material costs will probably be around $5.00 a collar (includes cute ribbon).  Probably about 1/2 hr of labor (once I know what I am doing).  I can probably sell them for $15.00 - $20.00 each.  So, to put an extra $500 in my pocket each month, I would have to sell about 40 collars (used average of 17.50).  Oh, I have to have a website or do ebay or etsy (of course, I have all of the hassles of shipping).  I could try the local stores...oh, but they'll want to make money also.

Hmmm, or I can do 3 or so hours of free-lance accounting work a week.  I think I know which direction to go.  I'll make collars for Rua and gifts and donations (Humane Society) and I'll do a little bookkeeping on the side!

I would buy collars from you for sure!  We are pregnant with our second Doodle right now so we will need more collars .  We get pick of the litter so don't know yet if it will be a boy or a girl...if it is a girl we will need lots of new collars for sure!

Okay Jane, one more for you.....www.isabellacane.com         I LOVE the stripes...also very cute dog beds on this site :)  better pull out that credit card again.   I just spent $105.50 at the pet store for Murphy and am proud to announce that I did not buy a single collar!  I did however get him a new leash....bright yellow and matches several of his collars.  AND a fabulous handmade pottery water bowl for the back deck so he can drink in style when we are outside playing.  Then I just had to buy the regular stuff...Fromm, 2 flavors, braided bully sticks, a split elk antler which by the way he LOVES...treats etc.

HAPPY SHOPPING JANE!

My guilty pleasures used to include Louis Vuitton bags and luggage.  Not any longer - now it is collars/leashes and grooming.  LOL!
In that case then I think you may actually be saving money so good on you.
I don't have nearly as many as you guys do, but I do have two collar/leash sets and I DON'T even have my dog yet...LOL  I think I am done though.  I bought two different leashes because I wanted a 6' for general purposes and a 4' so I could have a little more control if I know I'm going to take my dog somewhere that it is called for and I figured the collar might as well match.
