Update on Dexter the Min Pin - Moving to Madison, WI

Thought I would give everyone an update on little Dexter.  The Min Pin rescue in MN and IA are full.  So either today or tomorrow I will be traveling to Madison, WI.  It will be about 8-9 hours of driving and worth every minute.  Is there anything interesting between Priarie De Chien and Madison?  Anyone up for a late lunch?  LOL

Actually, there are a lot of interesting things on your route! In Dodgeville, there's The House on the Rock, which is one of my favorite tourist attractions ever! Mineral Point is a small town artist's colony where you can stroll through town and watch the artists creating all kinds of wonderful ceramics, sculptures, paintings, etc. And in Spring Green, you can tour Frank Lloyd Wright's home Taliesin, and also have lunch in the only restaurant Wright designed. That area is one of my favorite weekend trips! I wish I could meet you!

Seriously, thanks for helping Dexter. He will be one of the huge pack of dogs waiting to greet you at the Rainbow Bridge some day.

Is that Prairie of Dogs?  Not sure of the French word for dogs but it is something like Chiens?  You should have a fun drive seeing lots of them!    LOL!
