Casey chews all her toys. No toy lasts more then 30 minutes tops without getting holes in it. We know it's just a phase but we would like to have a toy that keeps her busy but not us picking up the peices! Any suggestions?

I wish I could give you some advice but I can only give you empathy!  Charlie will only play with soft stuffed toys.  I have tried every other kind of toy on the market and he won't even bother with them.  Like your Casey, within 30 minutes there is a hole in it, the stuffing is being pulled out and he has found the squeaker and is chewing on it like a piece of bubble gum.  Luckiily he doesn't eat any of the stuffing or squeaker.  He is now 5 years old so I figure this is never going to change.  I just pick up the stuffing and squeaker and he plays with the "carcass" after that.  About every 3 or 4 months I throw away all of the carcasses from his toy box and buy him new stuffed toys (whatever is on clearance) and the cycle continues.  When he was a puppy the trainer told me he has an exceptionally high hunting instinct.  I guess he looks at these toys as his prey.  Sometimes you just have to laugh at these doodles and what we call Charlie's "quirkiness".

3 Suggestions - all from Petco, Rooney wasn't a big chewer and love his bully sticks but Stuart loves to chew so here is what he has been given (all were Roo's).

Jolly Ball - love to chew on the rope - destroy it if you want

Kong - braided monkey (they have other animals and these come in sizes) has held in there from both the boys

Dino's - we have all 4 and they hold up very well - forget who makes these but they carry them at Petco and Petsmart

Oh gentle Rooney, my dogs would kill that monkey and massacre the Dino in 5 minutes flat ... after they tugged on them for a while and kept their winnings.
Kona and Owen chew their toys to shreds. Now all they get are antlers and kong.

Cooper will usually de-stuff her toys. She loves stuffingless ones thankfully, check out skineeze, go dog barnyard buddies and kyjen plus puppies

these are just random websites to show you what they look like

Another tip is to hide a new toy in your dirty laundry for a week before giving it to your dog - its much less likely to be destroyed!

great idea about putting the toys in the laundry..would never had thought of that.

This is what we have found Haley cannot destroy and he can destroy most toys.

ChuckIt Ultra Ball

I got all of these from Amazon.com.  I do know that Petsmart has the ChukIt Ultra Ball.  He also has some unstuffed toys that he has removed the squeekers from (immediately snatched from his mouth).

Unfortunately most dogs don't think of toys as anything but things to chew on.  My dogs only get rubber balls (Chuck it rubber balls that look like orange tennis balls without any fuzz) and bones (sterilized real bones and Nylabones).  They would destuff, chew up, tear up anything else because they can.  So we gave up on anything else a long time ago.
Not necessarily a phase.  Many of us have doodle destroyers - personally I consider 30 minutes to be a lifetime!  Clancy can gut a squeaker from a stuffie in less than 3 minutes.  He is obsessed with getting the squeakers.  Ned did outgrow obsessive destruction but he still ruins his toys pretty quickly.  I would just not get our dogs stuffies at all except we have a Springer who loves and needs his fuzzy ball.  I buy toys with broken squeakers - stuffed or rubber.  Mine LOVE nylabones, real bones, antlers and those chewy rubber treat ball thingees which last far longer than the others.  Many dogs love kongs too - mine don't but my daughter's lab who is also a destructo-demon loves his kongs.

We get Daisy the occasional stuffy, she plays with them for a while before she kills them, but her one thing in life that makes her the happiest is the Chuckit and Chuckit ball. We play every single day for at least a half and hour, running, running and more running.

Thanks for all your help, we do have the chuckit and the chuckit ball, and my dog loves in! My daughter loves doing it with Casey as well!
We have an indestructable toy group. You should look on there too. But Sonny only gets black kongs, the largest Naylabones, Orbee balls and the Hurley. Nothing else ever lasted! Nylabones are by far his favorite to chew on.
