My doodles are fashion critics...

Do your doodles "check out" your outfits?  I thought Seamus was unique with this habit....but I found out differently when we got Stella, our second doodle.  Whenever I get dressed for the day (typically for work) Seamus sniffs my outfit....very deliberately...up and down...pants, skirt, tights, shoes....everything.  And they only do it as soon as I change clothes....(it's not like they smell something on my clothes randomly.)  Then when I come home from work and change, he sniffs my outfit again....just like before.  It's not like a quick snort...it's a truly deliberate, "what are you wearing" sniff!!!  I feel like he is examining and critiquing my outfit everyday!!!  Well.....recently, Stella has adopted this behavior!! They also seem to know what my "work outfits" are versus my "walk outfits" versus my "going out at night outfits."  It really is crazy!  They do it to my hubby sometimes...but more to me.  Who would have thought that doodles could be such fashion critics!! Do your doodles do this?? Or are my doodles the only fashionistas out there?!

Yes whenever I am getting ready for the day they are keeping a close eye on me...  they probably wonder what it means for the rest of their day!!

No fashionistas here - mine are all boys - they don't care.  BUT Rooney can tell before the suitcase is pulled out if I'm in packing mode.  He gets that look that says "I know that you are leaving and I don't like it".

Coco Chanel does that too!! If I'm wearing a wrap dress she pulls on the part that you tie!! She always sniffs my clothes!! She does it when they are layed out, then on me, then when I get home!! Itsnlike she's making sure I'm not cheating on her!!

My guys prefer that I'm wearing shorts so they have free access to my legs.  They love licking my legs.....other than that they really don't care.

Jane - Rooney is a leg licker too and sometimes this drives me nuts!

They know when I get out the heels and nice clothes that it means WORK day.  Casual = more playtime for them and they smile more....really.

Murphy pays close attention. He knows work clothes from weekend clothes...and, therefore, MURPHY DAY!!
So only as it relates to his day. ;-)

They try to figure out if we are leaving them home alone. When Chloe does she puts her chin down for a guilt trip As long as they don't make any funny sounds, I think they approve of what you wear!
