Quirky Little Things They Do!

Just wondering if anyone else has a Doodle that must stretch before you put the leash on to go potty?  Every single time that Sophie asks to go out to potty when I come with the leash she always has to stretch before she will let me put the leash on ............. today I finally remembered to take a picture or her.  Anyone have any other little odd things your doodle always does?

Bailey does this every time she gets up, except the opposite way! She streches her back legs by leaning forward! I think its the cutest thing.

Clover and Apollo both do this whenever I say "Lets go potty" or "outside" whether they are already standing or not.  Unless it involves a tennis ball.  Then they are both sitting at the door waiting for me.

First thing in the morning I let everyone out to go potty and feed them when we come in.  Since they all eat in their crates.  Clover runs in the house straight to her crate, goes in if it's open and sits there waiting for breakfast.  If I need to do something before feeding them.  Clover will wait in her crate until she eats and will not come out until she does.  Everyone else tries to get my attention not Clover, she just patiently waits until her food comes,  It's one of the funny little quirks I love about her.

One of my doodles uses her "yawn" as the alarm clock.  When she yawns, she makes a loud squeek,  She  starts this early in the morning and does it periodically until I get up and let them out of the crates.  Not a peep from the other dood and her yawns are quiet.  Pretty Quirky...  The other one does this thing where she gives you a little lick every time she walks by.  It's like shes blind and using your leg or arm as reference.

So cute-Myla does this back and forth a few times today she did it when she was eating she just put her bootie up and rested her head like 3 times

[Doris]

Bodi stretches (both ways) when we ask him if he wants a walk.  He licks his lips if we ask if he wants to eat . . . .kind of like his own sign language, although he talks sometimes too!

Wilson stretches out with his front paws first and then back paws, he sits in between the living room and the kitchen watches what I do, then  he goes by DH who is eating his breakfast and asks for a scratch under his chin, Wilson will then SMILE HUGELY<  it is soo cute.   He then comes and waits for his food, he is a character !!!

Halas always stretches right before a walk, too.  Maybe they just know the importance of stretching before physical activity.

[Susan, Zeke. Lily & Jasper]

2 out of 3 of my doodles do this.  I used to think this was a delay tactic on Lily's part but maybe not.  Then Jasper started doing it too.  Zeke  has never done it, he is always ready with his nose against the door, ready to go out.  Just another funny doodle thing!
