Picked Quincy up from the Vet today after his neutering yesterday.  Other than a couple of stitches...you would never know anything was different.  No cone, no meds....nothing!  Just my silly puppy is back home!

Our Bella did well without a cone also. She was pretty sluggish for about 36 hours and then was back to her normal self. That's the hard part, stopping them from playing and jumping when they feel better, but are still not all healed. Glad it is going so well cuz I know how we all worry about them having surgery.

That is the way it was for Ned also.
That's what is so great about dogs - animals in general - they only deal with the physical affect. No emotional baggage. No worrying about what it all means, no concerns about "should" it hurt. If they feel good they want to play, if they don't they slow down.It is up to us to get them to slow down when they would rather play (got to keep the stitches in)!
