Are your doodles Ninja like?

Zack is like a Ninja. I think he is sleeping by my feet and I look down and he is gone. I think he is right next to me and he has headed silently  to the kitchen. He is infront of me  - I look up for a second and he's behind me. I ALWAYS know where my other dogs are. They have heavy feet. The make noise when they walk. Zack seems to walk on a puff of air. Do your doodles make noise when they walk?

Rooney is a Kung Fu Doodle - silent but deadly.  Ha ha.  Nope don't hear him at all but Stuart is more of a moose and when he walked he slides his pads along, they make a cute noise.

I know exactly what you mean Jane...Gracie Doodle is a huge girl but she is silent.  If things are really quiet you can just her the slide of her pads on the carpet.  Zero noise on the wood floors.  She appears out of no where and disappears just as quietly!

Oh my gosh!!! I was scrolling down to reply to this post when I saw this picture of Rooney and burst out laughing! My family thinks I am nuts. That is such a great photo!!! Love it!

Tara is pretty quiet too. She is a mini so she is not in my line of sight if she is directly at my feet. A couple of times I have asked DH where Tara was and she was sitting right next to me looking up and wondering why I was asking such a ridiculous question!! :)  "Duh, I'm right HERE!!!"

Cindy, Kona, our four year old is totally a ninja! He slips in and around without a sound. I don't know how it's possible. He weighs 90 pounds. Owen is sneaky but not very quiet. He's 11 months. TBD.

Get a bell and put it on his collar, that might help you keep track of him.

Luna started her ninja training young:

When I can hear her on the wood floors I know her nails need a trim ;)

However - I can get her to stalk me by just crouching down low after she goes to fetch a toy.  Still need to take a video of that...When she's stalking she is completely silent and can stand still for up to a few minutes.  It's pretty funny!

 

However, when she's running it sounds like someone let a horse into the house...

It's great to see that inner Ninja! Zac doesn't stalk he just moves through the house silently unless he is playing. Then he crashes into things!
