When I gave Lily her first Bully stick she just looked at it not knowing what to do with it.  I picked it up and put it by my mouth like I was going to eat it.  Lily got the picture and now she loves them.  I had to laugh today when I saw an add for "dried pizzle".  Never giving it much thought I had always figured it was dried cow tail.  Boy do I know better now.  Yes, Lily will continue to enjoy them just without me showing her what to do with it!!  Anyone else have this mistaken?

lol.  Don't worry...you aren't the first one to make that mistake.  The first time I took my husband to the new doggie specialty store near our home, he picked one of the bully sticks up and was looking at it and smelling it.  I didn't say anything of course because I was laughing too hard.  Have you ever seen the lamb trachea that is sold for dog chews?  You can actually tell what that one is.

That's hilarious.  The things we do for our doodles eh?  I didn't know what they were either and I was quizzing the young girl in the Pet store.  She was whispering to me in hushed tones and I just thought oh to be young again and worry about such things.

Yeah, I had no idea what they were until someone on here mentioned it a few days ago.  Granted I've showed Brinkley what to do with them...that's kind of funny. :)
