Free Custom Printed Photo Book!

OK, this is a very cool offer that was made available to us because we have a great community of Doodle addicts.  Vista Print (the biggest custom printer on the net) has offered to print a free photo book for any member of our site from the USA. 

You can create a special gift for yourself, your dog(s), your family, or your friends.  We don't care, but just choose wisely.  ;-)

This offer is available is for the 8" x 8" photo book in either hardcover or soft cover.  They normally charge $33.99 and 24.99 for these books but you get 'em free.  Not only that, be we get a commission when you order your free book!  So you are supporting DK, Doodle rescue, and yourself all in one go.  That's what we call win-win-win!

My order is IN.  And since there are over 7,000+ of you fellow Americans here on DK, we expect about 6,999 orders for these!  OK, maybe not.  But it is a fantastic offer that makes having a site like DK fun AND supports Doodle rescue at the same time.

Vista Print is doing this because they are so confident in the high quality of their products and service, they are sure you will order more from them after this initial order.  I think they might be right, but you let us know.  :-)

What's the catch?  This offer is so good, it can ONLY be for you guys.  It can't be some stranger that stumbles by on the web.  So the link to this offer will be given through email to members only.  It can't be posted here in public.  Those are the conditions put on us for making this offer and we think they are fair.  You guys deserve something exclusive for all you do for Doodles!

OK... there was a glitch in our plans.  The free photobook offer is probably still coming.  But, we're not 100% sure.

What happened was this.  We are not the only site who received this offer for their members but apparently we were the LAST site to get it offered... and then the higher ups pulled the whole offer as they had enough response and we hadn't even sent out the offer yet!  We received the offer on Saturday, teased you about it on Sunday, and were ready to roll it out in Adina's regular email this week.  But by the time we were ready to send out the info the offer was gone.  Yikes!  That will teach us to wait until the regularly scheduled email to alert you to free stuff!

So I wrote back to our rep and it looks like we will get the offer again next week.  It just might be only for a limited time.  Perhaps as little as 48 hours.  So no dilly-dallying if we get this, OK?

If we don't get the same deal again, we will send you to a very similar offer from a different company we have since been told about.  We preferred the VistaPrint one because we got a commission on the referral.  The other company doesn't offer commissions so it won't support DK or rescue... but it will still get you a free photobook!

So just in case this is a limited time offer next week, get your photos ready!  I say this because I know it took Adina a while to choose the "perfect" photos to include.  If you know that already, you are already there.  :-)

Is that 26 photos, if you do 1 photo per page?

There are multiple ways to layout each page.  So I would choose a lot more than 26 just in case!  There is even the option to put text on some page layouts.  It took me a while to figure out how to work it, but it gives you some nice options.

Maybe this will make you feel better. Years ago I had a big family event planned. I did everything way in advance including booking a lovely restaurant L'Auberge de France. The invitations were printed. Lo and behold before the event the restaurant morphed into Fatso's, a sort of bistro, crayons on the tables. I couldn't have the event there. Deposit lost, new invitations. So you never know.
