The injured are mounting in numbers and include a chicken with its throat chewed open, a giraffe that has suffered a blown neck and exposed squeaker, a Snuggle Puppy that had its nose amputated, and a elephant with a stomach wound and partially severed leg.  I will be preforming multiple surgeries later tonight in an effort to save these babies from an early death.  In the meantime there is a monster on the loose - he is cream and has an insatiable desire to chew on stuffies, do NOT be fooled by his innocent appearance.

The injured.

The perp.

I just don't believe this of Stuart.  How do you know it isn't night=prowling alligators? Hmmm?

How are yours that clean? Ours are stiff with slobber and dirt and I wash these pathetic substitutes for toys every week. I used to sew them back up etc., but now I just lop off the loose parts.  Only Gordie's big soft fuzzy balls get surgery.

I see no evidence of fluff on Stuart's adorable face or anywhere on his bed so you'll have a hard time convincing me he is guilty of anything but being cute and sweet as can be.  He does need a little help with his innocent look though.

Oh no...not the gray elephant Rua got for Rooney's birthday.  Say it isn't so.  Rua has the same one...totally intact.  Since I KNOW none of that kinda of stuff happened until AFTER Stuart's arrival, I have to say Stuart...you are SO busted.  I also have to say he is so darn cute, I couldn't be mad at him!

Sorry Dori & Rua but yes - it is THAT elephant but not to worry - I fixed it right up.  Stuart just LOVES that thing.  And just this morning he ripped/chewed a leg right off of Rooney's pony toy.  I swear I should just go buy some old tires for him to chew on - lol.

Hi Jane...

It seems that Stuart may just be a hearty chewer...like a lot of Doodles on DK...

A lot of the bigger doodles are...and we just can't give them "stuffie" kind of toys to play with.

We have to keep it to the really well made..."hearty chew" type toys and chews...and they are sometimes hard to find!

The Kong line has come out with a number of newer toys...bright...fun shapes...and they squeek...and aren't as easy to "destroy"!  Lol... (not just kongs that you fill)

I get Sasha Beef Marrow Bones which she Loves...Loves...Loves!

After she enjoys it for a day (it's raw and organic and I find them frozen in a local Pet Shop) I boil it for a short while...to destroy germs...etc...and then she has that to chew on for a long time!  It's also great to keep her teeth clean and white!  It's Doodle Yummy!!  Lol...

Of course...Stuart can also be going through a time where he is chewing "extra"...say if he is teething??

But...he might always be a hearty chewer...who just "Doesn't Do Stuffies"!!  Lol...

He sure is a cutie though...

Sasha Sends Great Big Doodle Hugs To Her Friend...

We gave up on stuffed toys long ago.  Sedona was a master at finding the weak spot and working at it until she'd gutted the "friend" - usually within the first few minutes.  Stuart obviously shares her masterful skills!!
So cute. So cute. I'm glad to see he is happy and playing. Now don't think i'm crazy but once I was where you are now so I rolled socks into a ball. Spud was elated. Best toy ever. Nothing like 'the forbidden' socks! Of course this is not a good toy for those dogs who would chew or swallow but for dogs who do love soft toys and just wear them out!

Probation??????

Well all I can say is that the accused looks very defiant.  I have a similar cache of victims here so it seems there is more than one culprit in this case.
