Need to rehome my Saintberdoodle

Unfortunately, due to relocation I need to rehome my Saintberdoodle. He is 2 years old, Saint Bernard/Standard poodle mix. Rambo is non-shedding, needs to be groomed at least twice a year. He is about 85 lb. Rambo is neutered, up to date with all his shots and doesn’t have any health issues. He was traumatized as a puppy when he was attacked in a dog park by an adult boxer. He doesn’t trust other dogs and will make himself really scary when he sees a dog. This is all show off and he is not aggressive at all. But because of this and his large size I will only consider an experienced dog owner who can provide Rambo with a good house, preferably with fenced in yard. We currently commuting between New Jersey and Maine and will be permanently in Maine as of third week in September. Would hope to find a good home for Rambo by when.

Definitely talk to the DRC if you are set on re-homing Rambo.

But I do have to agree with others that Rambo wouldn't care at all about no yard, smaller house, etc....

I had my two dogs in a condo and have recently moved to a house.  They are not one bit happier in the house than they were in the condo. They follow me around anyway.

This is so sad for all concerned and you certainly are the best judge of what his needs are. I know our Murphy would be a wreck if we ever left him permanently. It makes me sad to even think of him not with us.  I think he'd be happier in a crate all day in a new home with us than anywhere else with anyone else. Bella I feel is one of those dogs that would just adjust, and be okay after awhile. I hope Rambo is more like my Bella and goes with the flow easier. Good luck to you all.

Just to let you guys know, I decided I just cant let Rambo go. He was always my baby and we all moved together. So far its working out. I am starting new job on Monday and hopefully Rambo would be a good boy while I am out working :)
