Does your doodle do...

[Bonne Bouche]

So many of our doodles have unique quirks and nuances. However, I suspect many of these are more "doodle traits" than not. I thought it would be cool to list some of the silly things our "doodles do" and then respond back to others in "voting fashion" if our doodles do, or don't....

 

Anyone want to play along with me?

[Sue, Murphy and Bella ()*o*()]

Murphy has to greet us at the door with one of his toys. He comes to see who it is, turns right around and has to find something, he is frantic until he does, and then comes back to us and runs circles around us. Every time.

Bella does this GROOWWLLLL thing deep in her throat when she wakes up in the morning with her stretch. She sounds just like a big ol bear!!! Now it's cute, but it was kinda of freaky at first.

YES! BB does the "gifting" too! I think its probably one of my favorite things about him! Its typically something soft, like clothes or one of his stuffed toys. Every morning he does it, and its so sweet!!!!

Does your doodle pretend to be vicious. Hufff does when we blowdry him or when he gets over exited and shows us his pearly whites. One time he got up on the bed (he isnt allowed to be on bed) and we were trying to get him down and he started showing his teeth and vicously (gentley) grabed our hands.

Brinkley "hugs" us when he wants his belly scratched.  He'll jump up on the bed or his couch (yes he has his own sofa in the sunroom), sit back on his haunches, and then wraps his paws around our necks to hug us as we scratch his belly.

that is so sweet! BB doesn't do this, but its so cute how you describe it!

Magnet plays the bucking bronco thing...she jumps on the couch and leans up against the back and bucks her rear end up so far she actually arches her back, then looks at me and barks....and it's a game now, so I say "enough bucking bronco" and she does it over and over.  If i look away, she barks at me to get my attention like "watch me". I could list many quirks from her, she is def my clown...lol

Ah yes, the doodle lean! Sadie leans on me when I ask her to sit and we're in an unfamiliar or overly exciting place, and also when I come and let her out of jail (that kind of leaning is also accompanied by pawing and occasional nibbling on my hands).

Oh, the lean. Lola leans on absolutely EVERYTHING. I need to get a collage of pictures, because it's really just crazy how much she does this. She's knocked me over just by leaning on me before. And yes, walls, couches (her two favourites). What is up with that? I've never seen a dog lean...nevermind as much as she does!

I swear Luna goes out in the early evening just to stalk crickets in the back yard.
