A day in the life of Daisy

Hi Everyone, Daisy here....just thought I would tell you all what a day in my life is like M-F

5:30 AM: lay in the bed while Daddy drinks his coffee and pets me and Mom showers.

6:30 AM: move to the living room while Daddy gets ready and dressed to go for our morning stroll (weather has been bad so we haven't been jogging much), and keep my eye on Mom who is making breakfast and lunches.

6:45 AM: Daddy and I go out for our morning stroll (which includes the morning potty time).

7:00 AM: We come back to get our chuck it and Daddy and I play in the back yard.

7:15 AM: Come in, drink some water and eat my breakfast than nap until it's time for Mom and me to go to work, Dad takes his shower and leaves for work.

9:00 AM: Mom and I arrive at work, I greet everyone there and then take my position under my desk in my work bed. I wait to hear the door chimes so I can greet the customers & delivery people in hopes someone brings me a cookie...I usually luck out with the Gary the paper guy, Luke the UPS man and Jackie the Fed Ex gal, they know me best and they make my day.

5:00 PM: Me and Mom leave for home, when we get there Mom gets the Chuck-it and we play in the backyard until it's time to make dinner

6:30PM: Daddy arrives home, we all eat dinner and then the evening is mine...we play, we walk, we just hang out until bed time at 10 PM

It all starts over the next day.

Laurie, If Mommy didn't have a job I would be a slacker too, she says she goes because someone has to pay for my lifestyle. I go to keep Mom in line.

Nice life if you can get it! It is great that Dad AND Mom play with Daisy.She is a pampered pooch!

My doodles are also with me most of the day, but i am retired so they don't have to travel much! They take a nap in the morning after eating their breakfast and a bit of activity while I do the household stuff. By noon they are ready to romp around outside and are playing a busy until 1 or so--then it's napping again until 4--the long-awaited dinner -time! Believe it or not, after a brief stroll in the outdoors, they sleep again! This includes my 9 month old pup! They seem to get less sleepy after dinner, when I take the gate to the living room down and let them hang out in there with me and their living room toys. Then they get a bit wild for a while, but by 9, everyone is getting settled in for bedtime.

All this will change in a few days when one of them has her new puppies--life will be hectic!

Ginny, I would love to quit my job, too much hard work but I can't bear the thought of not having Daisy with me so stay I must!

Ha ha.....10 more years, 10 more years, 10 more years!!!!

Oh Daisy, you have such an exciting life. I get to play outside 3 or 4 times a day (i love fetch) and Mommy will take me for a half hour walk if the weather is nice (not too hot, not too cold). The rest of the time I sleep under Mommys chair while she studies. Sometimes I get to go for a car ride to visit Daddy at work. He works in a pet food and supply store so I always get lots of free treats! Mommy says I sleep too much, and Id better have more energy when we move in with Gram-Gram and Grumpy Grampy because they will want to play with me all the time! I think I can do that :)

Wow Daisy you are a real full time working girl!!!  Tara just works part time when needed to transport  postal labels between the office printer and the garage here at home. She works for kibbles. Her other self appointed job is to notify us if the cat needs in or out and to alert us to the fact that the phone is ringing.(she believes that she lives with old deaf people!) The remainder of the day is spent as companion to the old deaf people. LOL!
