Has anyone heard of this product for muddy doodle paws? http://www.jardenstore.com/productdetails.aspx?BrandId=502&pid=...

It looks good, but is it worth the money? I saw it on Amazon, (http://www.amazon.com/Paw-Monster-Microfiber-Cleaning-Tool/dp/B000X...)  which means you can use the DK link if if you want one. :)

CEMENT
LOL  We have friends that actually did something quite close to this in their backyard because they were so tired of dealing with the mud! (They have 4 aussies) They removed all the lawn (about .25 acre) and replaced it with gravel/stones.  The stones were big enough that they didn't get into the dog's pads.  It actually works perfectly for them and with the borders softened with landscaped gardens it looks rather nice.  It's not cement but close! LOL
I am old school - baby wipes (i guess old school - would be water on a wash cloth but....)
I just keep towels by every door!
I bought something like this months ago and I'm embarrassed to say I haven't even tried it yet. I keep towels by the door, wipe down the floor a lot, and got a rug for the Florida room so that there wouldn't be as much exposed tile to wipe off! But if I do try I'll let you know what I think.
Just threw mine out - didn't work with Lola.  I just put her in the tub and use a pet shower attachment to clean the paws - it's much faster and gets it much cleaner
wow, I can't believe someone actually thought of making something like this LOL!!! We just keep a towel at the back door and just wash it a couple of times a week.
I use the Sham-Wow on my doodle's paws... it works pretty good for us.  If they are REALLY muddy I just fill a bucket with water and swish the paws around - I find this to work the best.  The mud/dirt gets caught in the webs of their feet and the swishing around in the water gets it all cleaned out.
I'm with you.  We keep a small dishpan that we got when DH was in the hospital.  I put warm water and a drop of dish soap.  Swish their paws in and wipe with an old towel.  VOS (very old school)
I agree...not worth the money. I have one and it is no better than a good old-fashion tower. Funny thing...I was only saying to my hubby..."the rainy season is coming...OH NO...8 muddy paws to wipe again". How I dread it as it is time consuming and takes much energy, but there is no way around it. As many mentioned, lots of towels everywhere. Good luck to everyone. It is the price we pay for those gorgeous big teddy bear paws.....:)

Sorry...but I never heard of this so I can't really comment on it.

I do have the Paw Plunger for Sasha...and I really do like it.

I think it works well for those Very muddy paws.

I fill it with some warm water and a little mild shampoo ...and just a couple of up and down "plunges" and her Big paws are clean!

I think it's worth the investment...if your Dood goes outside and get muddy paws often...and it's great for getting the snow and ice balls off of their feet in the winter too.

You can find it at Orvis.

I really like using a shammy to dry Sasha when she comes inside with wet feet...or even it it's been raining.

They are so absorbant...and I find them much better than a towel.

I have one and it doesn't work, that's why I'm searching the site now to see if anyone has any better solutions!!  Lol!
