Rio has fun in the SNOW!?

Yes, it is snowing in the Northeast! I have about two inches already and Rio just went out and ran around like crazy in it. He was probably only about 4 months old when all the snow melted this spring, so this seems brand new to him. Unfortunately, it is the sticky wet snow that makes snowballs all over his legs and he is VERY upset about it. He has been licking them and picking at them since he came inside--poor guy. I guess he will get used to it....Here two pictures of an iris I have that is still blooming (it blooms in the spring and in the fall--weird) and it is all covered in snow now.

Darwin absolutely loves the snow... until it makes snowballs over his legs. LOL. Here is a video of him playing in the first big snow from last year... as well as the aftermath. I hope it snows soon here! Yay!

Wow!  Southern California decided not to have fall this year. It is supposed to be in the 80's on Halloween.  Out here you never know whether you will need  long johns or swim suits under your costume.
