1st Sunday Portland Area DOODLE ROMP

(I've sent out individual msgs. to all members of Portland Area Doodles regarding the following. This is a duplicate msg.)

Its official! We now have a regularly scheduled Portland Area Doodle Romp every 1st Sunday from 1-3pm through April 2012 at Fidos indoor dog park. Mark your calendars! As long as we have at least 6 doodles attending each time, we'll qualify for the $5 discounted rate (otherwise it will be $10 per dog).

Fido's is located at 4949 SE 25th Ave (near SE 26th and Raymond). If you haven't already done so, please register with them here https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=fido&...... and bring a current copy of your dog's vaccination records the day of the romp, or fax it to 503 477 6318.

I'll be sending out reminders the week of each scheduled Doodle Romp.

Hey, pleasure to do it. I'm just wondering if we shouldn't extend the window from 1-4pm to make it easier for everyone to attend. Stay as little or as long as you like. What do you think? I remember the IDOG event was 3-4hrs and doodles and their owners were coming and going throughout the time period. I wouldn't much like diluting our group though, if only 7 doodles showed up during the entire period. There's pros and cons to it.

My thoughts on the 1-4 vs.1-3 time frame.  At the 1-3 more doodles will be together at one time, versus the coming and going of all the dogs.  People can still stay longer if they want, not like you have to leave at 3pm. like we did at " Dogs Dig It ".

Good point, Charles. It was kind of my feeling too, once I thought about it. It hadn't occurred to me, though, that people could stay longer if they chose. Thanks for your input.
