Goldendoodle in Calabasas, CA needs a new home!

Craigslist has a goldendoodle listed that needs a new home. Apparently the owner is pregnant and can't deal with the dog's "issues" i.e. jumping and reactivity to young children. Here is the link:

This is what the ad says:

"Sweet boy needs a new home fast. The lady of the house is pregnant, and on bed rest. She can't afford to deal with the some of his behavioral issues like jumping, and can no longer walk him or afford to care for him the way he deserves to be cared for. This is extremely difficult for our family, but it is necessary at this point. He has been good with other dogs, and great with older kids. He has shown some aggression with younger children so please take that into consideration. All in all, he is just a big cuddly pile of fur who loves to be the center of attention. He is only 2/1/2 and full of life. We will happily provide you vet information. He has been fixed and chipped. He would be a great companion for someone who like to jog."

I would take him but I already have my hands full with my adolescent Charley Girl.  :-)

He looks so cute! Poor guy. Thank God we have people on doodle kisses that see and share these ads and connect them to the right people. Hopefully they utilize the expertise they have been directed to.

Did you hear back?  I cannot even imagine.  These stories make me so very sad. My heart literally hurts and aches for these dogs. I am starting to get a lump in my throat reading all of these craigslist ads.  Makes me want to vomit.

I understand some people must give up their dogs...but come on.
