Without going into personal issues, I decided to STRETCH out Ginger's food a bit.

She eats Blue...and I thought if I added a small bag of .....sit down....take a deep breath.....Purina One.... okay, I said it....that it might make the doodle dollars last long.  Now Ginger won't eat the Blue!!!  She managed to pick through the bowl and leave the Blue, in the bowl and on the floor.

So now I bought a new flavor of Blue and NO GO...INow I am in a pickle!!  She is eating Blue, fish and sweet potato...sorta...

I guess my question is, what do people with any food that their dogs will not eat?  Can you donate it to the local SPCA?  Even if the bag is opened?

Thanks

yeah, the wine would be a hard one! But I should have made myself clear - you only need to cut out ONE of the things in the above list, not all of them, to save enough for dog food

I had to cut out 'nice' wine so Rua can go to daycare.  I have found I can drink box wine, if I have to, but NOT box red!  :-)

The other nice thing about quality food is there is less output!  So, makes pickup easier!  LOL

I agree-use the Blue with no mix ins and she will eat if she's hungry. Maybe she will think it was a random treat?
not the wine!
I think they will take it,even if opened.
