Hattie Earned Her CGC Certification!

Hattie earned her Canine Good Citizen Certification today at 7 months old! Canine Therapy International is next and training starts with a new trainer on Wednesday. The trainers for therapy work were there at the dog show (I didn't know them) and were watching Hattie and raved about her and invited me to join the class mid-term! I'm so proud of my girl!!!

Congrats!  Duffy and I are working on the same thing.  Duffy is doing great except for his bark.  He'll bark during class and that's a no-no.  Our class breaks for December and January so it will be Feb or later before we get tested.

Congratulations! This is just so great.  I know how excited and proud you must feel. Monty passed his CGC test at 10 months old, but I had a feeling that he just tricked the evaluator by acting his best knowing "important" people were watching. We still need lot of work before going through the therapy dog certification. By the way, what kind of trainers are these new people? I've been searching for some specialty therapy training here in the Denver area and can't fine any. Tell us more about the next training, please.
