Does your doodle like to spoon? How does your doodle cuddle?

I have two doodles and when it comes to cuddling, they couldn't be any different. Sophie Bear is not a cuddler. She bounds up on the couch or the bed at night at her own discretion, and curls up at the end by my feet. She only tolerates my attempts to cuddle her, and usually squirms away after only a few seconds. If she could speak she would roll her eyes and say "mommmm, you're smothering me!"

 

Winston on the other hand, doesn't go on the couch and he will wait for permission to come up on the bed, looking at me with his adorable pooh-bear face. When I say ok, he jumps up and curls up right against me, head on the pillow and let me wrap my arms around him while we fall asleep together. He eventually gets hot and goes down to his own bed but we always get in a good snuggle and I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

Does anyone else out there cuddle with their doodles? What is your doodles favourite way to cuddle?

Snickers sleeps in his own crate (room) however my boys have been known to take a nap from time to time on the floor!

I love weekends. I can get Monty to get up on the bed for cuddles when I sleep in.  But usually I think he is too hot or confined to stay thru the night.

Zach doesn't cuddle - he sleeps with his head on me lower legs - that is as close as it gets. He will visit with me for a few guick pets or kisses. He does on the other hand follow me around and stay very close. Thankfully two of my frenchies are velco dogs and can't cuddle enough so I get my dailly fix.

Mattie sleeps at my feet or along my legs but always touching me--if I move, she moves. She likes to be next to me on the couch at night as do the other two, so they seem to rotate. One will wander off and the other will come over. Rio is funny because he likes to sit right next to me and lean into my shoulder. Now that he is almost 11 months old, his head is as high as mine--I feel like he is a person sitting there.

Riley sleeps on the floor at the end of the bed but in the morning when my partner gets up he lifts Riley onto the bed and he comes right up between us and wraps his paws around, first me and then my partner with lots of licks.  Then when his dad gets up he snuggles up right beside me with his head on my shoulder and goes back to sleep until he gets warm and then he goes to the end of the bed. I have to lift him off the bed but he waits until after I have my shower and get dressed then I say are you ready for breakfast and he stands up because I have to lift him off the bed which is no easy thing now that he is much bigger, but it is so worth it : )

Shelby is a cuddler and a lover.  Whenever she gets that chance she finds the best spot for her.  Not always comfy for me.

definitively not comfy,  but we let him there till he decides he's too hot and leaves.  I love the cuddle time, but love it more when he decides to leave, then I can finally stretch my legs.  LOL

Chloe is just like Winston but Myla is all on her terms! How cute!
