I was so hoping to see photos of Chester in the snow. I grew up in Wisconsin and now live in CA... no snow. I miss it (well, the fun part of snow anyway).

Don't they LOVe the snow!!!   I see 'booties' which of course would help with the feet but I can't imagine Brady keeping them on let alone actually walking in them.   My solution will be to have  his feet cut very short or shaved right up to his knee joints.   Will not look very attractive but will be so much easier!!   I used to do this with my standard poodle and it really solves the problem.

We don't get snow very often in Portland (Oregon), but I used bowls of warm water, outside on the patio.  Yikes!  It qualifies as no fun, after the fun in the snow.  :)

wow.. look at those paws.. I like the idea of a warm water bowl.

Ruby enjoyed her first snowfall too but boy those snowballs are really something! Her front chest was full. When we got inside, I tried to melt them off of her. She was so good she rolled onto her back. She then started helping me by licking them off. I basically just tried to melt them with the heat of my hand and towel drying. I took a lot of videos of her playing outside. She was unsure of the snow at first but boy did it not take long to fall in love (a lot more than me :) ).

At first Chester was pretty unsure of it too.  but now I can hardly keep him out of it. Pretty cute. He sure is tired at night after bounding and digging all day.
