Thanks to all of you who passed on suggestions and good wishes to my earlier discussion. As it turns out, Chervil's vomiting continued, and the vet grew increasingly concerned when even the anti-vomiting medicine didn't work. Early xrays didn't show any visible obstruction, but xrays this morning, after injecting some sort of dye) indicate that there's either something that's very difficult to see obstructing her or there's a problem connected with an organ. Her stomach is extended and so there may be a tumor there, or a liver node growth, or some other surprise. We got to go see her before surgery, which was wonderful and agonizing, too. Please send good thoughts. It's just awful to see her get so sick so suddenly and not know the likely outcome. Even sick, though, she remained sweet and happy to see us.

Hoping for a speedy recovery!
Best of luck.
Glad to hear that all went well and that it was not something that would be an ongoing issue. Hugs and Dkisses for a speedy recovery!
Chervil please get better ... sending doodle hugs and kisses your way.
Good Morning Chervil, we are hoping you had a good night and are headed home this morning.
I hope all goes well with Chervil. It must be so difficult to see your dog sick. I hope they find the problem soon.

How is Chervil this morning?
Waiting for a good update here myself. And I had bad dreams last night. My dogs both have been into the kindling the past couple of weeks. Starlit is a big stick chewer. Scarey!
Prayers for Chervil, hope she is well soon. Please keep us posted.
Just saw your post & I am so sorry to hear about your Chervel. Praying the surgery went well and a very speedy recovery is just around the corner.
