for the record, TOTW Bison whatever they call it....... lol  Monty does like this very much.  He still gets his toppers, I cook and freeze copious amounts of chicken breast, and he gets a little yogurt every morning.  Plus every USA treat that has good ingredients. Oh he is way too spoiled, gets way too much of living large.  Reminds me of the folks that can afford to eat seafood every day and get gout.  :(  I hope I'm not killing my dog with kindness with his rich living.  He most certainly eats better than me and his grooming costs much more than I spend on myself. Just so he doesnt get snooty about what we feed him, it will be ok.  lol

I used to feed Bindi Orijen, which is a high protein, no grain food. We switched to Acana, it's made by the same company as Orijen & it's a little cheaper. Bindi likes it just as much too.

I think it depends on peronal taste........just kidding. We feed Zack Halo Spot's Stew (Salmon).I like to stay away from any rendered meat or meal products. Crude Protein 28.0% (minimum)

My boys eat Fromm Four Star......because Murph is the pickiest eater in the world I like that I can mix the flavors to give him some variety.  Wilson will eat anything.  I always have the grain free beef or surf and turf and then mix in a little of a different flavor when they get bored..they love chix a la veg.....they also get one quarter of a small patty of Stella and Chewy's raw Duck or Lamb Patty and green beans.

Kimberlee, did you join the Food Group and go through the many discussions ? There is so much great information in there. I started feeding Murphy with Fromm as that is what the breeder had him on. Then I did a lot of home cooking for months, then went to Wellness for large breeds and now he and Bella both are on Candidae with some home cooked toppings. They usually get a dollop of yogurt with most meals as well.
. They have done well on everything I've given them,maybe because the foods have always been within the same quality grade of at least 4 stars.

He gets Blue Buffalo large breed kibble mixed in with Blue buffalo wild kibble which is all meat a spoonful of blue buffalo can food usually the stews with protein and starch topped off with a crumbled piece of carnivore crunch from Stella and Chewys which is 100% freeze dried meat (yes he is spoiled)
