The Hopeless Doodle Addict Trophy has arrived in Arizona!!!

Hi from Arizona as we celebrated recieving the coveted HDA Trophy today. Murphy and Bella were very excited to get the wonderful gifts and treats along with some nice Texas snacks for me as well. Suzann sent a wonderful package filled with Texas originals like the Texas Tube Dog, and the Texas Football Tug toy. Also included were stuffed puppies for each doodle and it appears Bandit took a liking to one and left his scent on the half chewed tag, as that was the first item Bella went for. I think she now has a thing for Bandit.

One of the cutest gifts is the Talking Ball that you record a message in and it plays it over and over while the doods are moving it around.  I recorded "Murphy...get the ball" and "Bella! Don't eat the ball" as that is just what I say a gazillion times a day anyway. Perfect gift. There were some healthy well chosen treats for both of them and even some Texas originals for me. Pretzels and crackers made into the shape of Texas.

Suzann even included a lovely car seat blanket for my car which is just perfect as I am changing covers and blankets constantly as Bella still has some motion sickness going on. Always in need of covers! Thank you so much.

(BTW, we are remodeling, so I picked the most uncluttered corner I could find to take pictures. If you look close you can find some tools too. lol )

So here are some pictures of our fun morning.

A mysterious box arrives at our doorstep. Murphy is the first to notice.

Bella is summoned to help investigate.

"Hey Murph, do you smell what I smell?"

"Wow, Bella, a Gold Star just for us? What did we do to deserve this?"

"Murph,I can't chew on that gold star. Check out this tube dog, his name is Texas."

Murphy discovers the red puppy that Bandit liked.

 

"Hey, I saw the red puppy first, Bandit sent that to ME!!!"

Murphy knows she is easily distracted and shows her the new blanket.

"Look mom, do you think Bandit will like me in this?" 

"Look at all the terrific gifts we got, just for being doodles! "

Believe it or not, I have been thinking about my special gift to pass along to the next HDA for a long time. Long before I was even near receiving it myself. So I had started on my box of goodies months ago. I am so grateful that the person receiving this is someone who I feel not only really deserves it because of all the wonderful positive thoughts she brings to DK, but also because she has one of the darn cutest doodles ever!
I am about ready to pass along the trophy and although I have enjoyed seeing it this week, I feel it is at its best and brightest when it's shared with other HDAs. So i will be packing it up soon and sending it on its way.
So keep checking to see where the HDA trophy pops up next and join me in helping her celebrate finally being officially titled a Hopeless Doodle Addict. Again thank you to Suzann for showering us with so many great and thoughtful gifts.

I got a little busy this week and did not see your post so my congratulations is late, but true.  CONGRATULATIONS.

Welcome to the Club.  You are well deserving and a wonderful recipient.  So Glad, So Glad, to see the doodles kiss the trophy.  Made me smile.  So many doodles have in the past.

Thank you so very much Joanne, I didn't expect you to notice the post and was happy actually to have it get buried quickly as I didn't feel very much like celebrations were in order after your tragic news.

Yes the trophy has many many doodle kisses on it and that made me smile when I got it as well. Wouldnt think of cleaning it either!

Nope, no cure, it's true, we are hopeless, but a least in very good company. Thank you again.

YAY!!!! Congratulations to ALL of you!  They look so cute looking through their gifts!  Tori has a talking ball too... it goes off sometimes when a truck passes by - in fact it went off today as the plow went by... sometimes really scares me!  LOL  Enjoy!  Love all of your pictures!  WELCOME TO THE CLUB!
