This picture was in my local paper today. Caption: People Do The Darndest Things For Their Pets

Michael Antoniotti strapped his Jack Russell terrier's cage to a wagon and took him for a walk following leg surgery. Dodger was confined to a cage for six weeks after having his cruciate ligament repaired. Antoniotti said he did it because he didn't want the dog to get bored. A neighbor snapped the photo proving that we actually do crazy things for our pets. (Photo courtesy of Ed Kowalewski of Norton)

I think many of us here on DK would do this and even more.

Many of you know, I get my dogs their very own Couch,  which has recently shown up around here again.   My husband makes all the treats in the house. etc etc  Come on, be  honest.  We promise not to make fun of you  ( wink wink)

What have you done that would get you a caption:  People Do The Darndest Things For Their Pets

I worried that Webber wouldn't love me as much as he did Seda.  Not a chance!!  He got jealous and clingy at first, but now has made room for Seda in his life but he hasn't changed his relationship to me.  It is so much fun to watch them play together.

What no doggie patterned wallpaper??? LOL! They look very happy in their room-nice!

What a life for your doods!!
Oh, gosh, where do I start?? I should probably have my college-aged kids respond...or maybe not!!

Come on Doris...you can tell us ONE of your little secrets! LOL!

Their own room, so cute! Do they like to stay in there during the day? My two are never more than a few feet away at all times, so I don't know when they'd go into their own room. And geez, not sleep with DH. I think he'd end up going to their room to be with Murphy if he decided to sleep in his own room.
As for the dog in the picture, DH would be carrying him, not pulling him! And he's 65 pds.

They are rarely in their room...always hanging out with me.  When I have to leave them both, for photography class or girls night out to the movies, they stay in there together.  So, having their own room is a joke.  I just put the crate, toys and food in there to keep them out of my bedroom.  They both sleep on my bed at night.

I serve Phoebe white rice on a designer paper plate but not before blowing on it to make sure it is not hot for her.  I make the children--and DH--get off Phoebe's couch but heaven help anyone who makes her move for them.  My DH get insulted that I spend a good 10 minutes saying good-bye and kissing Phoebe before I leave when he rarely gets a peck on the cheek from me.

Ha Ha!! I love the good-bye scenario! It is similar at our house!!!

I took off my mittens and put them on Winston's feet when it was -20 outside.

You are a good momma.

Only thing missing is the picture of that and you would be right up there!
