Oh this IS my life, but, me having to wrap around 3 dogs :)   But, I do love it

That picture looks just like me with Stuart but then you have to add in Rooney and lets not forget a 13 lb kitty - lol.  No good sleep at my house!!!!!!!!!

Funny and true! I'm pretty sure Sadie thinks that the bed is hers and she's just being tolerant by letting me sleep in it too.

HAHAHA, so funny.

So true! So funny! Thanks!

Thanks for the laugh! -- the other Doris!

How true this is...at our house! LOL  Thanks for the smile!

LOL I love it. unfortunately last night wasn't a good sleep so it was me annoying hte crap out of the doodles. they both left me. I woke to find Sophie in her crate lol. I guess my tossing and turning were too much for her.

This is so true - though I have it with 2 cats instead of the dog!

Too true unfortunately. Luca is a pretty manageable bed mate but Calla, that's another story.

The timing of this is pretty funny as we just returned from a weeks vacation where the girls were with us.  They normally come into our room at night for maybe 30 mins of snuggle time, then they go to their room to sleep for the night.  However on vacation, they didn't have a room, so they had the opportunity to sleep with us.  Lucy is a pretty good bed partner.  She wants to sleep at the foot of the bed where she can lay and watch TV until we go to sleep.  Sophie on the other hand wants to be right up in our faces, right in between us, and someones hand must be on her rubbing her in some way.  If you stop she takes her paw and touches you to get your attention.  All to often this results in being scratched.  Most nights on vacation Lucy ended up sleeping right at my feet but Sophie would eventually leave us and go elsewhere to sleep.  All in all it wasn't too bad having them in the bed, but there were a few times where this bottom photo did come into play.

In my house it seems to depend on the weather.  If it is cool Camus likes to be close, but if it is warm he does not.  However, the morning is another story.

Stage One:  he starts be nudging me with his nose, then if I do not acknowledge him he will start poking me with his nose (the gentle nudge gets intense).

Stage two:  If the poking doesn't get enough attention, he will try to get the covers off.  To accomplish this he tries to flip the covers off using his nose/head.

Stage three: This is extreme and only happens if I cover my head with the quilt -- He gets on the top of  the bed and wraps himself around my head and I'm not kidding he really does this!

Stage four:  He wins, I am fully awake. He crawls over me or sits on me until I give him enough room on the other side to curl up and cuddle.

Luckily, I have been able to convince him that I am not an early bird so no more 6 AM wake-ups.

Ahhhh - Doodle love!!
