Im sure some of you will remember this picture, where Cooper was so cold in the minus 20C (minus 4F) weather
As you can see, her fleece lined coat is way too small for her. So DH and I went shopping to buy some fleecy material to go under her raincoat to keep her warm. We found a perfect match colour wise, and my MIL said she would sew it for me.
Unfortunately she started when I was driving DH to work - and she used the wrong coat to copy from. She used the too small coat. It is a little too short, but its stretchy and for under her other coat, so will still keep her really warm.
the fabric is quite thin so we quadrupled it up, and its fleecy on both sides
Shes going to look so dressed up with her snow shoes too
theres some fabric left, im so tempted to make matching leg warmers, but maybe thats too much...
The fabric cost $6 (for 2 metres), the velcro cost $2 and the thread cost $4, so was pretty cheap!

oops just realized I put this in discussions instead of a blog. Sorry
Very cute!!! Yes, she needs leg warmers too;)
She's getting all suited up for the cold!
Cooper is a "stylin" Doodette!
Love it! Sophie Bear has the exact same booties. Her rain coat is blue though, and her collar is green, so she doesn't match :(
She looks very cute and cozy in her new threads!
oh I just love the outfit, very cute. the leg warmers reminded me of the 70's.
Where is her snow hat!!!! lol
Pretty in pink!
Lovely! her feet look so tiny in those shoes without the puffy hair! Cute! And the new toilet is nice too! ;)
haha I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice the toilet! It has been sat in the hallway for 2 weeks now and my FIL still hasnt put it in (we still have the old one thankfully!)
Cooper, pink is definitely your color. You look maahvelous! What a nice Grandma you have to make this for you.
