I was looking around on the net and found a breeder that has blue eyed Goldendoodles. They claim to be the only ones with blue eyed GD,s.Wont most of the puppies eyes turn from blue to some other darker color? They charge more for a blue eyed GD than the other colors.I wonder if they give some money back if the puppies eyes dont stay blue.LOL.I really like the blue eyes but ive heard that the breeder is not so good.Health and temperment is obviously more important than eye color.Does anyone have a blue eyed doodle?I would love to see pictures.

I just raised a puppy who is now owned by a brand new doodle kisses owner who had very light blue eyes until 8 weeks of age when they started to turn to a nice light green-He may end up with hazel, but his siblings have all started out darker and the hazel eyes among them have already changed--I am thinking that this guy's eyes will stay light. The first pic is at 8 weeks and the second pic is at four weeks of age. I have seen other doodles with light green eyes.

Oh his eyes will stay light given his rose nose and general pigment.

If this doodle came out of a litter with chocolate parents....that is why his or her eyes were green.  A chocolate Poodle is a given.  It comes with the territory. Ie...always one or two pups are born with green eyes.

Jared,

I hope I can find an old discussion about how puppies eyes do photograph BLUE.   We had many examples of our now dark-eyed puppies who had blue eyes on photographs but in real life--did not have blue eyes!!

Here is my example:  Baby Spud.  He now photographs dark green, brown, or silver and even light brown--which is what his eyes are most of the time.

This will settle it.

Here is the discussion.  Jared, read thoroughly.  The answer is in there.

I have an adult Goldendoodle with blue eyes available Jared...but seeing as everyone is telling  you nothing but nonsense...... good luck.

That topic settles nothing nor do you even make a point.  My gosh.

Thanks for posting this. It made me look into  some things, and I am smarter for it :) I did some snooping around for blue eyed doodles on my own, and there wasn't a single photo I could find that didn't make it's way back to this breeder. I would say that with all the breeders in the world breeding doodles, there would be at least ONE other breeder who can substantiate it.

I also noticed that the closest thing I can find to their website (it appears that hers was shut down), it says right on there that their eyes may not stay blue.

I also really liked how they "do NOT email photos!!" and you are not allowed to visit until you've paid in full :)

Whom says my website was "shut down "  ???  My website is located at http://www.goldendoodleworld.com  and excuse me ?????????   I have adult Goldendoodles with blue eyes.  What are you talking about !  My oldest blue eyed goldendoodles are over five years old!

You are hearby notified to remove all of my images from YOUR website immediately.  I have printed this content out for my attorney to review.   If you have questions about my blue eyed Goldendoodles,  go to my website or call me.  Do NOT copy my personal images and display them on your site without my permission.  Furthermore,  I AM the only breeder whom has the blue eyed Goldendoodle because the blue eyed gene is in the bloodlines of my dogs' pedigree.  Had you gone to my website at http://www.goldendoodleworld.com you would have read that information and you would have known that.   We charge more for our blue eyed Goldendoodles because we rarely have them.  Brown eyes is more dominant than blue eyes even when both parent dogs have blue eyes.  But I do see,  as usual, you wanted to come to this website and bash me as a breeder rather than call me.  I know whether or not my dogs eyes will change their color or stay blue before they are sold.  So your question is quite absurd, at best.

All of the comments posted here about me is disturbing if you ask me.  Controversy ?  Yes. That "controversy"  was all over the "MIchelle" forum owned and ran by a pal of the owner out of Canada, whom enjoyed stirring up trouble in her forum off her Goldendoodle website, now didn't she ?  The Michelle forum in which anyone could create a fake name, push the enter button and wala !  Their fabricated content was there for the world to see.  Then along came Ripoffreport.com ; Scam informer.com ;  complaintsboard.com ; "doodlekisses" whom I believe is owned and operated by a Goldendoodle breeder competitor whom enjoys kicking up the dust a bit herself.. and now a  crazy sister of mine  whom I now have my  second restraining order against.  What else would you like to know ?

Unless "doodlekisses"  would like to be sued for copyright infringement along with internet harassment,   this entire thread better be removed from this website/forum and my name better no longer  appear for your enjoyment's sake.   I will be taking this  "conversation" piece down to my attorney's office tormorrow morning.  If this thread,  along with my images and my business name and personal name is not removed,  "doodlekisses"  is going to find itself in some trouble of its own.

International lawsuits, how exciting.

I think in kindness we should suggest some anger management class.  My oh my.
