All this talk about the Puppy Bowl and our doods watching....I love all the posts and pictures. But I was wondering...Daisy Never Notices TV no matter what is on, does everyone's doodle actually watch, should I be worried?

Maybe she prefers reading? LOL

Maybe I'll try but usually I'm too busy trying to defend the TV. Oh and Downton has horses too, how could they? Is my brother watching as the plot gets juicier?

Here is the sad thing....I watch TV in the bedroom, while your brother sits in the living room with his TV and Ipad2. Who knows what he is watching out there? LOL I do know Antique Roadshow is on at 8, I think, and he never misses that show :)

hee hee. Should I say hokum now?

Yes, Bonnie, now would be the time :) LOL

There is no TV in Tara's universe!  And I think that twice in her lifetime she has barked when she heard a dog on a DK video bark.  Otherwise...nothing...she's a bookworm Bookdoodle like Daisy.

You are to much.  I love the idea that you pick movies so your dogs can enjoy them with you!!!

that's awesome

Finally another non TV doodle, I am with you Tara...they both say TV is boring.

Lisa, Get Daisy a Kindle :) Yes, Fudge and Vern watch TV.  Anything with an animal on it gets Vern's attention. He growls at Rin Tin Tin. Fudge will watch, too. Yesterday, they watched a little of the football game.

Daisy not only doesn't watch TV she insists that we don't either. She carries her toys over and drops them in front of us..and then stomps her feet until one of us pays attention and throws it.

She also carries an antler over to DH (he's usually on the floor) and drops it near his hand, even if he isn't paying attention he naturally picks it up and holds it while she chews away...it cracks me up every time.

Who da boss in this house?!

Zoey (my frenchie) watched TV - really watched. The other dogs were totally disinterested. She also had favorite commercials, and would come in from another room if she heard music that signaled the beginning of the commercial. When I say favorite - I mean she barked at it. She also barks whenever they play the theme song from All Things Considered (NPR). TV is now gone - Hulu just does not seem to be the same for her.

Honestly, I do read to Spud.

He does react to TV and I have witnessed him watching TV, especially the computer screen but I think he is looking for the sound.

So Lisa, try reading. It really does work and it is enjoyable.
