REMINDER: Portland Area Doodle Romp - Sunday, Feb. 5th!

Hi everyone! Here's your reminder of the 1st-Sunday Portland Area Doodle Romp, scheduled for this Sunday, Feb. 5th, from 1-3pm at Fidos Indoor Dog Park. I've confirmed with Fidos that they're open and ready for us on Sunday.

I noticed our group on DoodleKisses has 75 members, and only a small fraction of us has shown up at the romps. The romps are a great opportunity to get your doodle out and meet and play with other doodles. How often does your doodle get that chance? Now that the glitter has settled on the holidays, let's make this romp the biggest and best so far. As long as we have at least 6 doodles attending, admission will be $5 per doodle, otherwise it will be $10.

Fido's is located at 4949 SE 25th Ave (near SE 26th and Raymond in Portland). If you haven't already done so, please register with them here https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=fido&...... and bring a current copy of your dog's vaccination records the day of the romp, or fax it to 503 477 6318.

Thanks everryone who attended today's romp at Fidos! I counted 8 doodles, but on the way home couldn't come up with 8 names (Emma, Maddie, Obie, Teddy, Joey, Traveler and Lucy)... not sure if I missed one or miss counted. Anyway, we had a good bunch and all the doodles had a great time (made the price break too). It was fun seeing all the different ways doodles play... I loved watching Teddy wrestle all the other dogs to the ground... really comical. He looked and acted just like a big teddy bear. Aptly named!

Hopefully, we'll have a similar turnout (if not better), next Sunday.

Hey, Debb--good job with the names! It was fun to see all the cute doods, and thanks so much for arranging this. My pictures are mostly blurs as the dogs raced by, but maybe next time...LOL

There was the doodle named Doodle, unless I just misunderstood the name. :)
