All this talk about the Puppy Bowl and our doods watching....I love all the posts and pictures. But I was wondering...Daisy Never Notices TV no matter what is on, does everyone's doodle actually watch, should I be worried?

Maybe she prefers reading? LOL

Mattie, who is an F1 LD, watches any animal on TV but has no interest otherwise--dogs make her bark like mad. if we say"There's a doggie on TV!" she will run to the set and bark at it. She did this with our older TV and the new flat screen. The other two doodles I have, who are multigen LDs, NEVER see anything on the screen. My personal theory is that dog's color vision varies and that the more color they can detect, the more they can make out the images--I know that people think dogs don't see color, but I think that may be wrong for some dogs--anyone know anything about that?

They do see color but differently then we do...here is a spectra of color and how they see it. Apparently they don't see red, orange or that bright green very well, which is so stupid as most of their cool toys are in those colors.

Riley watches anything with animals on it so when we leave the house we often leave the set on the horse racing channel.  Anything with a dog in it is his favorite, he sits right in front of the TV.  It's very funny to watch him do it.  He never barks though.  The only time Riley barks is when someone rings the doorbell.

Watched the Big Show tonight.  The Dalmation shoulda' won!  :)

Casey usually watches the T.V. If we tell her to look.
