Who amongst us has the Paw Plunger and who truly loves it and is glad they got it? I really want to get one but only if people think it's worth the purchase, they don't come cheap.

I have a similar one the I purchased from Target by the brand Pet Head. It was $10. We have a creek in our back yard that is typically more mud than water this time of year and the paw plunger ( by Pet Head) has been a life saver to use on the deck to get the initial globs off. We have three standard GD's and the size is just fine :). It's essentially a big clear cup with a flexible rubber cap with a slit to insert their paws into. I imagine it would work with most any size doodle. We add a bit of soap to the cup with warm water and plung away :)

I too have the one from Target. Looks like this. It is actually clear. The red is a towel that comes with it. Not bad for $10. I have had mine for a week now and have only had to use it once, but it works well and surprisingly my standard GD puppy didn't seem to mind plunging her paws inside.

If you are still thinking going the paw plunger route, check out www.doggyloot.com. That sight had a special on that product in the last week or so. It may still be valid.

I just use a small bucket with water, since my once nice back yard (pre-doodle days) is a mud hole now (post doodle days).  Sometime the mud get caked in the webs and in between the paws.  I was looking into getting waterproof booties for my doodles.  My babies are not too fond of the bucket and water thing !!

Lisa,

The Target in my area had this on the clearance table.  One dollar.

I've never tried one.  We have so much mud I think the only thing is bathes.  But, if you get one, let me know what you think

One dollar? I'd try it!!

I have one and love it. I have the medium, but wish i had the large as it would be much easier with all of Coopers fur. The paw plunger is different to the one from target in the picture Kim posted as it has bristles in it too

Just checked. Looks like the www.doggyloot.com deal ended. It's a need website to check out though.

To me it seems like more trouble that it's worth. But I have never used it.

Does it work for GREEN PAWS???  This is Bella after the lawn has been freshly cut. Every week.  I'm thinking a Paw Plunger isn't gonna do anything for my Green Girl. :)

OMD! Bella is so cute and what a look of embarrassment. Not that I think she really cares. ;o)

I am so with you! My DH mows but refuses to bag the clippings hence green feet and consequently green carpet. arrgh!

Good for your DH, I do the same since it's good for the lawn and the environment.

Bella has a green thumb!
