I love to see other parts of the world but have no funds to travel right now. I'd love to see where you guys walk your doodles. That way I can live vicariously. Post a photo in the comments, it would be nice but not necessary if your doodle was in the photo. You can share as much as you feel comfortable about the location.

Here's one of my favorite trails. It is in NY state a little bit north of NYC. It is a narrow trail that runs along the Hudson River with the Palisades cliffs right next to the path. So pretty, so quiet. This path can get really crowded. I usually prefer to walk alone in the middle of the woods. I may have to try to get a photo on one of our usual desolate hikes.

That is me and my doggy. Notice the loose leash??? It's a work in progress. :)

So where do you walk your doodle?

Your yard is so gorgeous...

Thanks Camilla. Sometimes it is just judicious photos : )

Gorgeous F!

If anyone lives in the NYC area you should check out the Croton Dam. It is absolutely an amazing place. Worth the trip. There are restrooms and a picnic area. There is a huge lake / reservoir, the damn and a stream. Dogs are allowed on leash.

I love to find new places to go, I'm determined to explore every cool pace you can go within an hour drive of my house. If anyone lives north of NYC I'd love to hear about your favorite spots.

I've seen this but never explored it. Thanks for the tip.

We just got back from the Poconos for our last mini vacation before the baby comes.  Seamus and Stella fell in love with the pathway around the lake.... I'm no photographer, but I was pretty proud of this shot of Seamus and Stella's little head behind him.  =)

This is beautiful.

We don't go that often but it's a treat when we can walk down by the trails along Lake Michigan and down to the beach.

It looks lovely.

This morning I went to a wonderful place to walk the dogs.  It is in the city of Monterey and above the Veteran's Memorial Park.  You walk up 189 stairs (I counted them) between an army facility and homes, and then the area opens up with a great view of Monterey and Pacific Grove.  I didn't see anyone at all until I was coming back down the stairs.  I haven't been there for a couple of years, but it was delightful on a warm Monday morning.  Sorry, no pictures this time.  We walked for almost 2 hours and the boys were exhausted from all the running.  It is off leash as soon as you get out of the memorial park.
