The HDA trophy travels from the west coast to the east coast and arrived in Hillsborough,NJ

It was a damp, gloomy day and I was suffering with a bad cold, when the mail carrier came to the door with a box from Lynda Kamrath in CA. I carried the box into the living room and cut it open with a knife. Jersey and Jasmine was sniffing like crazy, trying to see what was inside. The duck toy that Groucho Too and Harpo sent must have been calling Jersey. She grabbed it out of the box and was running around throwing it up in the air and shaking it. She finally shared it with Jasmine, who perferred to snuggle with it. Lynda, who is very talented and creative made us a photo canvas of the "Jersey Girls" in the St Patty's day costumes, two hand made pillow covers. Her husband, Charlie made a handsome business card holder out of wood. Lynda also enclosed two of her books for me to read. "The Taking" by her favorite author, Dean Koontz and another, "Dog On It" , Spencer Quinn. Then, I found the HDA Trophy all wrapped up carefully in foam and bubble wrap. Of course the girls had to check it out and pose for their photo. I enjoyed reading through the journal, and seeing how far this trophy and journal had travelled before it got to me. We are thrilled with all of our beautiful gifts that Lynda sent and hope the person that receives the box from us will be happy with it's contents as well.

Thanks for all the congratulations and kind comments on my girls photos. All of this has brightened my spirits and almost made me forget I was sick. I'm gathering things to be sent in my box for the next lucky recipient but I need to find out who it is before I can add the last personal touches. Don't worry, I won't put my cold in. Ha, ha

Did you ever figure it out???  I have been off line for over a week (changed internet server) so I'm just getting back.  The trophy looks even better in the pictures than it did in person!

Yes, Lynda. The trophy was sent to Sherri, Sophie and Winston in Canada. Should be arriving very soon.

So, I am confused--how will the next recipient be determined from now on or is it just up to whomever has the trophy to figure it out?

There are still some people on the top 50 list who want the trophy and have not yet recieved it, so it will continue to be passed to the next person on the list until everyone in the top 50 who wants to participate has had it.  After that, anyone who has ahcieved HDA status (8000 points or more) must let whoever has the trophy that they would like it, and the first person to do so in each subsequent case will get it.

Now I am confused as well. According to Diane's note above Adina stated that everyone in the top 50 list had the trophy who wanted it. Can we ask Adina to clarify and maybe post a separate discussion about the new process?
I for example have the HDA status and only a few points missing to make the top 50 cut. Of course I would like to receive the trophy also eventually like Nicky who is in the same situation. I am more than happy to stay patient until everyone with more points in the top 50 had their turn, but as this list is not static and can change daily I believe we need Adina to set up a clear cadence on the process from now on to manage everyone's expectations and clarify the process.

I have clarified randomly in several places, but I'll do it again in a separate post.  Sorry for the confusion everyone!  The list does change...but basically once we are quite sure the list at the moment (when that moments comes) is complete and everyone has had it on the list that wants it....then we'll forget about the list and go on to 'first come, first serve' ....
