With spring around the corner I realized that my new sneakers are still in the box with an inch of dust on them. I would walk but I need to meet someone in order to get off my lazy duff.
anyone interested in getting a walking group together? I am available most days since I work from home and the weekends. They only place I know of is the South Mountain Reservation that has walking trails.
I am open to suggestions!

I have plans both days this weekend and next weekend too. It's getting to be that time of year when everyone is either graduating, getting married or having parties.
I won't be able to, I have about 10 people coming for lunch on Sunday.
Hi Adrianne.... I only can make very early a.m. on Sunday... like 8 a.m..... I think it might be too muddy though, it really rained hard last night.
We are meeting at the dog park at Colonial park on Wed at 1PM, letting the dogs play to get some energy out, then walking the canal path afterwards.
Jack and I have a walk date with my Dad at 11:00 in the park! Maybe we'll see each other!
Hi doodle friends :)
I am so out of touch!! I will try to follow this thread because I'd love to meet up for a walk especially if you go to Cheesequake which is so close to our house. We need to try a meet up in Ocean Grove too (before the doodles are banned from the beaches). Unfortunately because of work I can only do nights or weekends.
Hi, how are the boys?
. Due to my job i am in the same situation as you .... but I would love to meet in Ocean Groove, Asbury Park or a park in Monmouth County nights or weekends. I do take Zumba and Groove classes on the weekends, but i can try to work around it. I could meet on a Saturday after 12:30. This Saturday I am going to NY for the Passover holiday.
Happy Passover to you. Holmdel park sounds great [or cheesequake]. I have also taken the dogs to Shark River Park.
Have you seen many ticks?
A few years back i was doing much walking in the parks and Havey got really sick with Lyme's disease and anaplasia, both tick-transmitted disease.
I've never been to Shark River Park - I'll check it out. Jeff & I are always looking for new trails to walk. We haven't had any problems with ticks - keeping everything crossed that it stays that way! The doods had their first app of frontline-plus a couple of weeks ago & I'll keep applying it every 5-6 weeks until the beginning of Nov-Dec - depending on the temperature. Lyme's is no picnic - glad Havey is better.
I have found ticks on the dogs in Dec-Jan. They began to show up here again at least 6 weeks ago, if they ever went dormant at all.
