Interesting article about those dogs that survived and those that didn't when the Titanic sank. If you scroll down to the part about Ann Elizabeth Isham and her Great Dane, I think you will find the story sad, but something we doodle lovers can all relate to. I am sure I would have done the same thing, although you never know until you actually have the experience--hope I NEVER find out!

Very interesting and sad, too. How awful to be told your dog is too big to be saved. I could not stand the thought of them going down with the ship.

That was really fascinating. I often think if I should win a huge lottery, hard when I almost never buy a ticket, I would buy an ocean going yacht to take my dogs around the world with me : )
