Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I am making this a discussion rather than a blog so I can add information and pictures in a few days.

We are fostering beautiful Bailey, an 11-month old goldendoodle, for doodlerescuecollectiveinc.org.  Her furever parents are coming Thursday to pick her up and bring her to her new home.

Although that is exciting; this in itself would not be any kind of news.  Doodles are frequently finding furever homes through the assistance of Doodle Rescue Collective Inc.  What makes this special for Judy and I is that Bailey's new parents have another doodle, Hailey.  Hailey was born at Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles and Goldendoodles in Texas.  Holly was born there and Holly and Hailey share the same dad, Rocky, a standard poodle.

We are very anxious to meet two year old Hailey and see her next to our four and a half year old Holly. I want to shoot pictures of the two girls and share them with you.

BTW:  we'd love to meet other owners of Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles and Goldendoodles.

Can't wait to see the photos, Richard, and thank you for helping Bailey find her furever home!

Here is a portrait of beautiful Bailey...

BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

OMD she is gorgeous!!

Stunning!

How exciting....looking forward to the pictures to follow.  Thanks so much for helping Bailey to find his new home.

It is really fun when you meet another doodle that is related to yours.  Can't wait for pictures of them together.

I would love to see your pictures.  The portrait of Bailey is beautiful and I love your framing.  Hailey is a great little girl and I'm sure will be delighted to meet Bailey.  They will be a beautiful pair of doods.

Bailey met her new sister, Hailey and her new parents Sydney and Tom today; when the family drove down from Northern California to pick up Bailey.  Hailey is Holly's half sister and these two girls met for the first time also.  Sydney and Tom are great folks and we know they will give Bailey a wonderful home.  She bonded with them and with her new sister Hailey immediately.  Bailey could be a little shy meeting new prople but, she took to her new family right off the bat.  It was just like she knew they had come to give her a furever home!

Bailey and Hailey chased all over our yard.  Hailey is a wonderful girl and she hit it off great with Bailey and with Holly. Hailey also seemed to hit it off with our large group of Maltese (both residents and fosters).

It was a wonderful afternoon, Judy and I enjoyed getting to know Bailey's new family.  I posted pictures in the photo section.

I really thought that I might shed a tear or two when Bailey left us but, she was so happy with her new family that all I could feel was deep happiness.  If she had been reluctant to go and pulled on her lead to get back to us, I know that Judy and I would have cried but, Bailey just jumped into the back seat of her new parents truck like she knew where she belonged.

My only wish would be that Sydney and Tom with doodles Hailey and Bailey only lived closer to us!  That way we could see them again.

Horray for Doodle Rescue Collective, Inc.! They made this possible...
