Thank You God and for everyone who prayed and sent well wishes . We now have a pretty good idea that the source of infection is coming from my heart...also I have positive blood cultures in my port as well as my regular blood stream!!! I can handle anything as long as I knew what it was...there are some complications because I have a new closure device in my heart as well as I am on Plavix so taking the port out is going to be a challenge...if possible at all right now! Fevers are still high, not well controlled with advil or Tylenol but I am on the atomic bomb of antibiotics and I believe I will get better. Your overwhelming love, support and prayers have been my glue..and soon...hopefully I will be able to transfer care back..but will be here until I am stable....with my Addison disease, fever free, and the infection is well controlled, I am moved out of hotel and my amazing friend Susan Rish offered to fly home with me if I need help! I may be here another week or so who knows. I am grateful, so grateful a few more months of antibiotics is nothing, MY CF is very stable, my heart though infected is closed up, and when I get through this bump, I will be moving forward and back to life!!!!!! I can do this because of Gods abundant grace in giving me all of you! thank you from the bottom of my and my families heart to Christine Phillips and the Paw Pad Puppies and all my friends for raising funds, as you know I was only supposed to be here two weeks, now here well over a month and have to come back in June !!!!!!!

So they have to take port out. All cultures from arm and port are growing bacteria on three different days, from six different sites. The surgeons are not in agreement about stopping my Plavix ...we need wisdom again as I can not get port out without holding it for a few days and the closure device to cover my hole in heart is less then a week old! The infection is in my joints and it hurts!

Glad that they know what is going on and that Jennifer is on the right track.  One of the things that I love about DK is how much of a family we are.  Good times and bad.  We are always here for each other.

We'll all keep Jennifer in our prayers - praying that she gets home soon, as well as she can be!

I have read on here a few times but I just don't k ow how to respond to all the love and I am overwhelmed. Thank you all so much for your friendships, support, kind words and thoughts,

I have a long road of recovery ahead of me, this was very unexpected but I am in great hands. I am at the Swedish Hospital,here and the staff are amazing,


As you can see from my updates...I have a lot going on but I so feel the love and support that take away the lonileness. I kiss miss Jack something terrible but he is busy wrapping his Grammie around his paw even more...
It took a few weeks to settle but Molly and Jack worked out there own thing out and Jack is doing great eati g and pooping well.


I have been so blessed to have friends all connected from doodles here to help me. Jarka and Monty have come, my good friend Jami has been here the. I had other friends the paw pad come too I am so grateful I am filing up my room with positive things

I a feeling stronger emotionally...the sepsis is in my joints so I am in pain....but they will get the source of infection out of me just as soon as it is save to proceed ..

I didn't realize the fund raiser was posted on here for me as well, I a completely humbled...you all have done enough really...I am so grateful to call you family..I am reading on here as much as I can bUt typing is hard....I am keeping up with FB because it saves phone calls...but I thank you and so does my family from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support!!


I am going to make the cruise and dance the night away with BOB!

Jenn, I'm counting on you being on that cruise! We all are and you better not disappoint us! WE are going to have such a good time! (Can you just imagine being around Laurie for five days?? We'll get to see for ourselves If she's really FOR REAL, lol!!)

I know you are lonely and discouraged but PLEASE keep your spirits up! You are at the best place that you can possibly be and they are going to get you all straightened out! That's been my prayer and the prayer of so many others!

Next time you see Jarka, tell her to sign up for the cruise! I want to hug her neck for being there for you!
