doodles like rain?

Does anyone elses dog like water of any sort including rain?!

I dont have a fenced yard so i have to take her out on a leash and she just doesnt want to go in when its raining she wants to roll around in it! crazyness. She is 12 weeks so heres to hoping she might grow out of that? probably not:(

My Oregon  girl hates the rain. If it is raining she will try to find a flower bed under the eaves of the house to go potty in instead of going out into the yard!!!  But she was born in California...

Funny!  TaraBear must spend a lot of time under the eaves.  Trav's 'bro' is that way too--he'll head for a place under the eaves if it's raining.  When there's a real downpour, there's a veritable sheet of water that falls from the patio roof across the gate into the yard, and that does cause Trav to hesitate.  But he'll make a run for it--cute to watch!

Pat, fortunately for her, we get a lot less rain here in southern Oregon. About 18 inches compared with your 38 inches annually. Otherwise I would have to consider planting grass in my flower beds! I think this is what happens when the Lab genes get too diluted in an ALD! LOL

My Shelby loves the rain.... the hose.... the sprinkler..... puddles..... you name it, she'll play in it.   I have a fenced in yard... and she has a doggie door - so she can go out when needed.   I've have been woken up on numerous occasions by a soggy doodle giving me kisses....

She also loves thunderstorms - wants to go outside and investigate/watch.  I have to close off the doggie door many times due to severe weather (I live in TX) because Shelby will go out and play in the severe weather.   While this is not ideal... I am happy that she is not terrified of thunder/lightening given we live in Texas and this is a common weather experience!

oh thats amazing about thunderstorms, ive never heard of a dog enjoying that!

Chloe hasnt lived long enough to endure a thunderstorm yet but i sure hope she enjoys them too!:)

Riley loves the rain, I caught him sticking his head out of the car window when we were parked one day with his mouth wide open catching the rain! He also loves to go out in in and follows me into the shower if I leave the bathroom door open lol

Riley is funny!  I can just see him catching the rain!  I wish Trav would come into the shower, but it's the kind that's over a bathtub, and he doesn't want to get anywhere near the bathtub.

im also having some issues with her playing in her water bowl! it was cute at first having her tapping away in there with her paws but its not so cute every darn day!!

im thinking of maybe a raised tray food/water holder.

Awwww...playing in her water bowl really is cute!  Of course, my dog doesn't do that.  LOL
