Sad to say that after 8 weeks on her new meds, Clomipramine & Diazepam, the Head of the Veterinary Hospital; Behaviorist at UC Davis and I agree there is no change in her what-so-ever. Therefore we are weaning her off the Meds.

This is heart breaking and I’m exhausted after 1 full year of working towards an answer… but I’m not giving up on Willow. So we start over again once more.  I just have to keep believing that someday, I will be able to walk down the street with her while her tail is wagging.

I am so sorry to learn of this, Patti. Do you know what the next step will be?

No, but the Vet will try something new, drug wise I'm sure.

I'm so sorry, Patti. I hope you find just the right solution for Willow and your family as you explore ways to reduce her anxiety. Did you start the BAT training I see described in an earlier blog?

No, the vet stopped all training until Willow shows no signs of fear.

I can only take her to the dog park and quiet afternoons, and the fair ground also when its quiet.  At this point when she sees another person, or anything unusual, she goes into a flight state.

Patti, I am sending big hugs your way. I know this is heartbreaking. I truly believe the right drug for Willow is out there and I applaud you for not giving up on her.

Thank you so much.

I am sorry to hear of this setback. I hope you find Willow's answer soon.

Thank You.

I am so sorry that this wasn't the solution.  I appreciate the hard work and dedication you have to helping Willow become a happy girl.

She is so happy at home, and we are determined to find the answer so she can be happy when out.  Tank you for your kind thoughts.
